Group activity assigned by teacher as facilitator.
-Each coaching group chooses and copy onto word document/pdf 10 stories as read by Natasha, and download the audio file into thumb drive.
-Plug onto laptop or any audio tools and listen whilst skimming either handwritten copy or printed story for group listening.
-Coach will decide when group reading is to begin.
-Word document can be prehighlighted for students to note common mispronunciations (salah prounce?).
-Move to next story once it has been ascertained that all have reached enough reading fluency.
-It is important for ESL learners to begin listening to audio by native speakers of the language to enhance their listening skills.
-As the reading progresses each lesson is to end with spelling tests based on text vocabulary .
-Students are then graded based on reading fluency, with the seating arrangements shuffled to indicate best student on coach's right while the lesser one on the left.
-By now group ranking based on reading fluency will mean each classroom will have 4 groups A,B,C,D allowing for the better students to move up to higher levels while also involved in coaching the lower ones.
-Students are now ready to move to the Key Words series, which we dub 'hidden grammar.
